FPF Ward of the Court

FPF Ward of the Court and Professional Trainer Destiny Wilson in a training session. These two obviously already have a great bond!

FPF Ward of the Court (aka Doc Holliday) is Professional Trainer Destiny Wilson’s training assignment for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. FPF Ward of the Court arrived at S&S Ranch Rescue in January of 2019, emaciated and moments away from death. All of his care was grossly neglected. He was malnourished, weak, had pancakes for hooves, and he was depressed. Stacy Pipkin of S&S Ranch Rescue did a wonderful job rehabilitating FPF Ward of the Court, not only healing his body, but his heart and soul too. FPF Ward of the Court will be broke to ride, and trained up to the best of his abilities by Destiny Wilson. Destiny is also Fine Print Farms’ Western Riding instructor and trainer.

FPF Nolo Contendere

FPF Nolo Contendere (aka Nadia) is Gabrielle Lanza’s training assignment for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. FPF Nolo Contendere arrived at Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society as a severely neglected yearling. Her foster then fell in love with her and adopted her. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Nadia was returned to Bluebonnet, and she is now participating in the challenge. Nadia and Mickey will be competing in the Non-Pro Under saddle.

Although trainers receive a small stipend each month from Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, it is still not enough to fully sustain the needs of these rescue horses, who are often in need of some serious groceries and supplements.

We are currently seeking potential sponsorship. Sponsorship can include a monetary donation, or a donation of goods. This year, we are being housed through the joint efforts of Hill Country Eventing Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization and Fine Print Farms. All donations to the Hill Country Eventing Foundation for its support of this project are eligible for a non-profit tax donation receipt.

At this time, we are currently in need of the following:
– Training equipment (rope halters, split reins, bridles, saddle pads, bits, training sticks)
– Feed (Nutrena SafeChoice Original)
– Weight Gain Supplements, Hoof and Skin supplements

– Shampoo and Conditioner of any kind

– Grooming Supplies of any kind

– Hay- Monetary donations that will apply towards chiropractic adjustment, travelling expenses to the expo, housing at the expo, or showing equipment (including, but not limited to, show saddle pad, show bridle, show shirt, show grooming supplies)

All in-kind donations are warmly and humbly welcomed. Businesses that donate will have their logo featured on our stall banner at the expo. Thank you very much for your consideration, and thank you for supporting the second chances that these special rescue horses get to have.
